LitArts RI supports Rhode Island writers through community events, workshops, writing groups, and shared creative workspace. Our mission is to build Rhode Island’s arts community by supporting the state’s creative writers and enriching the lives of readers.
Since opening in 2018, LitArts RI has become a centralized hub for the Rhode Island literary community, serving 700 members and 3,000+ creatives statewide.
In 2023, as we celebrated the launch of a new literary arts center in the Valley Arts District of Providence, on the ancestral homelands of the Narragansett Nation. Read our Land Acknowledgment here.
